On Thursday, June 24th, 2021, the success of the Be a Light! Fundraiser was celebrated by the installation of 100 solar lights in the Continuing Care and Palliative Care gardens on the west side of the Drumheller Health Centre to brighten the evenings of Continuing Care residents and hospital patients. Community members purchased the solar lights to raise approximately $2,325 to fund Greatest Need hospital equipment for the Drumheller Health Centre. On Monday, June 7th, 2021, Premier Auctions on behalf of Ken Ireland presented a $800 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to purchase equipment for the Drumheller Health Centre of the Greatest Need. The Drumheller Area Health Foundation is conducting a cash raffle to raise funds for equipment of the Greatest Need for the Drumheller Health Centre with three cash prizes of $2,000, $1,000 and $500. The raffle is posted on our Facebook page (@DrumHealthFoundation) and tickets cost $20 each. There are 500 tickets available and you must be an 18 or older Albertan resident to purchase.
