Be a Light! Support the Drumheller Area Health Foundation by purchasing a solar light for $25 for their Be a Light! solar light fundraiser. Solar lights will be displayed in the Continuing Care & Palliative Care gardens on the west side of the Drumheller Health Centre to brighten the evenings of Continuing Care residents & hospital patients. On April 13th, 2021, the Alberta Elks Foundation and Drumheller Elks #54 presented a $2,754 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to purchase a bariatric commode for the Drumheller Area Health Centre for use by the Occupational Therapy Department to ensure patient safety in performing everyday routines, such as having a shower. On Friday, March 12th, 2021, Torxen Oil & Gas Ltd. presented a $6,000 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation towards the purchase of a new portable ultrasound machine for the Drumheller Health Centre, to enhance patient care. This generous donation will bring the Foundation to its final goal of raising $66,700 for the cost of the portable ultrasound.
