As 2021 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to acknowledge our past Board members. On behalf of the current Board and Staff, thank you to Dr. Johann Kuschke, Scott Kuntz, and Paddy Hunter for your past service to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation and for your support, contributions, and many talents that you shared with our organization. You have helped build the Foundation to where it is today and we are grateful for your service.

On November 25th, 2021, the Drumheller Elks #54 presented a $2,500 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to go towards the Laparoscopic Surgical Tower purchase for the Drumheller Health Centre. This donation commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Drumheller Elks in December. In the last five years, the Elks have given over $7,700 to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation. It is with great disappointment that we announce the 2021 Tree of Hope fundraiser will not proceed this month, due to current events with COVID. The Tree of Hope fundraiser is an unique event honouring the ones we love and ones we lost at a special time of year, in support of Palliative Care at the Drumheller Health Centre. All possible avenues were considered, but the Drumheller Area Health Foundation Board and staff could not make the fundraiser safe for everyone, including volunteers, while ensuring…
