
The Gaye Ross Memorial Nursing Scholarship was established in 1998 by the Registered Nurses working in the Drumheller Health Centre, UNA Local 74. Since the inception of the scholarship in 1998 and up to 2015, 18 students have received $1,000.00 to support their education to become a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse. As of April 2016, the scholarship is administrated by the Drumheller Area Health Foundation through an Adhoc Committee and the Education Policy. As of 2018, the scholarship has now been increased to $1,500.00 to help our chosen applicant with educational costs.
Applications may be obtained online or at our office. They must be submitted by no later than midnight September 1st of each year
