We are currently fundraising to raise money for the creation of a Simulation Lab at the Drumheller Health Centre! This lab will be necessary to facilitate the VERY exciting Grow Your Own Program, which will commence in September 2026!
This program will make it possible for local applicants to receive their Bachelor of Science & Nursing degree and become Registered Nurses, while staying in Drumheller for instruction. Alberta Health Services has partnered with the University of Calgary to offer this exciting program to aid in rural staff shortages & retention and make education more accessible to local residents.
This Simulation Lab will also be accessible to all other members of our Health Centre for training & skill enhancement, as well as to other first responders in the community, enriching and adding immeasurable value to our community!
