A BIG THANK YOU to Hi-Way 9 Express Ltd. for presenting a $6,000 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to complete the "final mile" funding for the Laparoscopic Surgical Tower purchase for the Drumheller Health Centre on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022. The Laparoscopic Surgical Tower is required to conduct laparoscopic surgeries, such as appendix, gall bladder, and gynecological. It will provide the best technology available today, so the surgeon has a high-definition camera and a large monitor to ensure a high visual field during surgery. With this donation from Hi-Way 9 Express Ltd., the Drumheller Area Health Foundation has reached its $160,000 fundraising goal for the Laparoscopic Surgical Tower and is able to purchase this critical piece of equipment for the Operating Room.
