On April 13th, 2021, the Alberta Elks Foundation and Drumheller Elks #54 presented a $2,754 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation to purchase a bariatric commode for the Drumheller Area Health Centre for use by the Occupational Therapy Department to ensure patient safety in performing everyday routines, such as having a shower. On Friday, March 12th, 2021, Torxen Oil & Gas Ltd. presented a $6,000 cheque to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation towards the purchase of a new portable ultrasound machine for the Drumheller Health Centre, to enhance patient care.
